I never noticed this much, except to distinguish the Quaker definition from any other. So First Day, means Sunday, not the first day you go to school. I see it more as a form of punctuation.

If all words are equal, why do Quakers follow capitalization rules (like, for example, First Day School)?

Wish I had thought of this question in high school...
