But you're finally in ONEderland! I hope it lasts!! And that you're feeling better.

Yes, my next weigh in is March 1. I bought a new scale and weighed in Feb 2 - both the new one and my old one read the same, although it was down from the previous day :) Not by much, but both read 173.2. But I now to count the March 1 weigh in based off of the 173.6. So about 23 to go until my mini goal! I'm hoping in about 4 months.

Well, I did it. Using an unreliable scale (which was not the same as the previous scales I used in Dec), and after a few times, I've determined 173.6, which is about 8 lbs down from mid Dec. I'm happy with it, my goal was under 175, but I just wish it was more. But here's to keep going!

Weighed in today for the start of my 100 days of tracking calories (aiming for around 1500/day) and minutes walked on the streak to success team. 104. Same as I was on Wednesday. Hopefully we'll see some downward movement now!

Don't worry about your weigh in! Take a deep breath before you get on the scales, and promise yourself that whatever it says, you will not eat because of it.

Gosh that's a lot of exercise! We didn't do that on the Tortoises team! :-)

I would prefer to weigh monthly but I think I am ok about weighing weekly now. I hope I am! Just need to not panic when the scales go up - as they surely will at some point!

oh, I did BLC19 and 20 and it was a great experience. I considered signing up for 30, but I'm not at a point in my mental health where I can weigh myself on a weekly basis yet. I need to do monthly for now. Maybe every 2 weeks after a month or so, but I can't risk my disordered eating popping back up!

It's definitely a great resource, but sometimes I think they ask too much of you (I remember one of our team goals was to exercise more than 90 minutes a day! - that's just insane!! I do it, but not regularly, and you can't expect people on the team to do that either, it's not healthy!).

I found that moving the scales from the bathroom to hiding them in the spare bedroom cupboard helped. Just makes them that more difficult to get to - gives you time to remember that you don't want to weigh! It works!

I have just heard unofficially that I made it onto BLC30 so I will have to weigh on Wednesdays. That's ok. As long as I view my weight in a detached manner I should be ok. First weigh in in 2 days time. I'd better behave then!

I'm so tempted to weigh myself right now, especially because my scale is staring at me whenever I go to the bathroom (I might move it to a shelf and only bring it out when I weigh!), but I'm going to wait until Feb 1st. 21 more days, that's 3 weeks and hopefully I'll lose weight during it! I'm hoping for 175-180 then, we'll just have to see...

Hi Jan! I weighed on Friday 8th Jan and was still exactly 14 st 5.5 again. A bit of a relief in a way! But as you say, I'm ready to start reducing my weight again now. It's time for a bit more to leave!

I'll join you - at some point. I'm slowly getting back into weighing myself, but I'm not going to weigh in again until February. Being back home for the holidays has really messed with my routine and eating habits, so I'm going to give myself a month before I weigh myself again! I mentally can't handle seeing a gain on the scale, so avoidance is what I'm aiming for!
