Oh Jackie, I totally understand you feeling disappointed and despondent, but I just wanted to say that to me 17.5 miles is awesome!! I hope you get your mojo back!

I am toying with the idea of going on the Slim Fast plan after putting back on all the weight I lost at Slimming World emoticon
I used to run/walk a lot and entered many 5k's, plus some 10k's and half marathons. Came a cropper when I entered last year's London Marathon (my long time dream to finish) and had to give up after 17 and a half miles. Was totally gutted and haven't really bothered with any exercise since. Feel terrible for my laziness and am determined to get back on track somehow!

I'm vegetarian, and try to eat 'clean' as much as I can. I track my food on SP and try to stay within my ranges for calories, protein, carbs, fat and fibre. Tracking has helped me a lot!!

I do kundalini yoga daily and walk/hike a lot. I aim to hit 10,000 steps at least 5 days a week. I also run at least once a week, though I may be ready to raise that target to twice!

I've got a lot of food allergies, so I only eat meat, veggies, and fruit in moderation. My problem are the chocolate chip free from brownies, I can shockingly eat them. Randoms are also my new favorite addiction, but my new goals are allow me one box of brownies or one bag of Randoms to last a weekend, if, and only if, I am wanting sugar. If I want sugar during the week, it'll have to wait until the next weekend (by which, hopefully the craving will be gone).

I also love to workout. I'm slowly getting back into running and would love to run another half once I get my distance back up again. I do spin classes, ST classes (body pump) and do the elliptical/cross trainer. I aim to do cardio 6-7 days a week and ST 2-3 days a week.

I am not on a diet i just try and eat healthy fish fruit and vegetables . Diets are temporary , eat most things in moderation . My knees are not that good so i can't run or jog so i walk as much as possible. I love good bread and puddings they are not good for my weight so i only have them on special occasion. Good luck with your plan.

The people on the Spark NoS team are very supportive and knowledgeable and I am determined to get the hang of eating right!
