And how often do you eat brown rice or quinoa? I haven't been eating any breads, rice or potatoes for about 3 months, and I just ate brown rice today because the NSAIDS were giving me tummy problems. I thought the rice would help because it's quite heavy. I'm feeling quite nauseous right now and full...

I have been on a simi-low carb diet for the last two years. When I do eat carbs it is whole grain, such as using brown rice, qunoa, I am also gluten free so this has helped in the me to stay low carb because I just do not eat breads, even the gluten free ones.

I've been trying out the low carb diet, and I think it's helping. I checked out this website: http://www.kickas.org/guide.shtml

Have anyone else tried it? What do you all think about it?

Basically I've been eating a lot of veggies, fruits (all sorts), nuts (mostly almonds and pistachios), fish, meats (reduce red meat). I don't eat dairy. And I haven't been eating bread, rice, potatoes, cakes, cookies etc. I find I feel better in general.
