Thanks Carol, we are all guilty of taking time and many many other things for granted. I think that's why we're all here, to remind each other to smell the roses.

Wow, Charlie, I really liked that!! I must not take the time we are given for granted. Someday it will not be there. I will use it to the best of my ability.

Every morning you are handed 24 golden hours. They are one of the few things in this world you get free of charge. If you had all the money in the world, you couldn't buy an extra hour. What will you do with this priceless treasure? Remember you must use it, as it is given only once. Once wasted, you cannot get it back.

I've not been doing well since mid-last week with it. Grrr.

Ok. Then I did 3 hours of Zumba on Saturday so I really went overboard because I was SO SO SO hungry.

Back to it tomorrow!

It motivates me to see y'all doing all you can to watch what you eat and burn it off!

How is the food tracking going for y'all? That I've been able to do but Fri. & Sat. I was at the hospital with Dubby so I couldn't workout. Everything is ok now but he gave me a scare.

Count me in also!! My goal is 8 lbs this month. I also have another goal and that is to get my portions under control. I am somewhat portion challenged. I have my exercise down good, it's just a part of my day now to do something to MOVE!! Now to get the food thing down, that would be great!!

Oh and as for my goal... my goal is to track my foods at least 3 days per week. That will help me automatically. So if I can AT LEAST do it MWF, it will keep my stomach expecting just THAT amount of food!

To me personally, I would sooner set a goal that some expert like...oh...Sparkpeople...would limit you to at your max and shoot for that ! 8 is good. I think it also depends on how much you have to lose. If you have a total of 25 to lose to your goal weight, 10 pounds is a lot harder than when you have 60 to lose. That's what I've heard anyway.

8 pounds I'll definitely cheer for! :) Off steady stays off!

Yes, you are right, they do say that and they are probably right on, but I'm going to give it a shot.

I divided 31 days in March by 10 pounds that I want to lose and found that it was only .32 of a pound a day. I need to reach a little and see if I can do it, at the very least I should lose 8 pounds right.

Don't they usually say that you should shoot for no more than 2 lbs. per week? That is just what I have always read.

Have you heard that before?

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Let's do this together to make it through our up's & downs. If you want to state what your goal is for this month, I will cheer you on. emoticon We all need support, right!

My Goal for March is to lose 10 pounds. To do it I plan on burning 3500 calories each week. So I'm going to start my pounds lost at -0- and weigh on Sundays. Y'all keep an eye on where my clock is ok!
