Grocery store.
You can tell what kind of person he is by how he shops...
If he has diapers, kid products usually single Dad
If he has mostly beer in cart - more than just a social drinker
If he has mostly processed foods, frozen dinners etc he can't cook, doesn't want to cook, not enough time .. Will he have time for you?
If he has sugary sweets, chips, heavy hitter calories and cholesterol stuff he isn't interested in health
Fruits, veggies, chicken, etc just might be a winner...
lol

I choose to sparkle!

It is really difficult to find good, Christian men...I have yet to find one. But I think that a Christian book store would be a good place.

That's probably why I haven't "found" a guy worth dating. Me-- I stay at home most of the time, unless I am with my nephew (whose 7) and we choose to go somewhere. It's self-sacrificial type of thing to put things on hold, but all in all maybe it's worth it. Maybe, I should just spend more time in the gym ;).

I understand the issue of finding out where to go, however, even if one went to wherever the place is that single christians seem to hang out....how would you be able to determine 'good quality' till you got to know that individual better? One cannot assume that just because a person states they are Christian, that they are of good character and make good choices based off of that. We are all works in progress....so each of us will have our own idea of what 'good quality' means. I believe in thinking ahead....knowing what kind of character or characteristics (not just physical) a person should have that you really want to spend time with. Knowing that may help one understand a little bit better where to find this individual. For instance, if you like to be around someone who is capable and self supporting, motivated and creative or entreprenurial, then look at joining some social networking sites like Linked in. Personally, I find that I look for those who are like minded, so that's where I go.

I truly believe in myself!

Well, I know there are some places where you pretty much have to go with a friend, like a club or bar, but otherwise, I say just go in there, and work it! emoticon
Bring magazines to the restaurant, and sprawl out with your feet up on the theatre seats!

I kind of envy your independence, RebeccaRose! I'm not exactly a 'dependent' person, but I've always preferred being around friends and family rather than being alone. I moved out of my parents' home last summer, but had a roommate up until the end of June. Just this week I conquered my fear of eating alone in a restaurant...even though I know that sounds ridiculous!

But...as for the original question...if I'm not in school or clinicals (which takes up almost 35 hours of my week), then I'm at church, shopping, studying, spending time with my family, or jogging with my dog. I guess I really don't do much to make myself available. =P

Dating is really difficult and only gets increasing difficult with age. I agree with REBECCAROSE11 single women are out there having dinner w/ friends etc.
I feel your pain and wish you luck.

I mostly stay home, go to church, go to the grocery store, and go to College, but that's just me. Sometimes I go to the YMCA to work out too.

I for one hang out around my neighborhood, sweatin' and jogging! This is a good question... Since I'm single, that's how I do it! I go out to eat at restaurants alone, go to the movies alone, I vacation alone, and I feel no shame doing this... in my case, I'm a very independent person, but single women are everywhere! some are in groups, some are out alone... that makes me very easy to find, right? ;)

Here is a question for the ladies. I find it really difficult to meet good quality Christian girls outside of church. Where are you all hanging out. I know you are out there, but where?
