My goal is to have plenty of apples and bananas nearby, just in case that huge bottle of water doesn't satisfy me late in the evening :D

I find that I fall asleep more easily when I have eaten just a little something an hour or so before going to bed. Conversely, if I don't eat anything, I wake up more refreshed. I guess my body works too hard during my sleep time trying to burn off what I ate... any other ideas?

I've found that having a dog is helpful to ending evening snacking ... since she always wants whatever I'm eating ... and I don't want her eating it ... and if I don't watch her ... she steals it ... just safer to not snack! lol

- Don't follow where the path may lead...go where there is no path & leave a trail
- The hardest thing about riding...is the ground
- Dogs have owners... Horses have staff
- Horses are God's apology for men ;)
- Riding is good for the Soul

I find myself hungry most of the time before I go to bed. I can't allow just a little snack, because I go whole hog instead...

It does feel wonderful when I wake if I didn't indulge- I am not lethargic or out of sorts, which is normal for me if I do eat before bedtime.

I'm am a HORRIBLE evening snacker. I usually work until 8 or 10 at night and then I come home and just pig out! I can eat super good all day long, and then it's like when I come home I HAVE to eat, even though I'm not hungry AT ALL. It's just a really bad habit that I somehow have to break!

"Insanity" is doing the same thing the same way and expecting different results.

Look at the bottom of my post. You'll see the rewards I've chosen. There are also some articles Spark has about it. You could do a Spark search on rewards.
Evening snacking is one of my main downfalls too. I decided I'm not going to completely cut them out so I just make sure to budget in calories for it and try to plan it ahead.
My weight loss has stalled since I have a friend and her 3 kids staying at my house. They have their stuff piled in my garage and covering my treadmill. I was finally doing 15 minutes of a really fast walk on the treadmill and it was helping me drop the weight. If the rain lets up, I'm going to have to take my walk outside until they move their stuff out.

I did not realize how much I do that until I started tracking what I was eating. That is a big thing for me.
I have a question too for you, how did you decide what to reward yourself and when? and how did you put it in your posts (blush)
you can tell I really am new here.
