Hi everyone...I started stair climbing last week. I can only do 10 mins right now but I'm going to add another two minutes next week and build up little by little. I'm so happy that the sun finally came out today. I'm looking forward to getting a bike ride in later.

It went well I think. 32 mins on the Precor X Trainer, 15 mins of interval training on the treadmill (was trying to establish how fast I can run a mile), leg tension and leg press and then 25 mins of recumbant bike for additional calorie burns and cool down. Did my third work out was last night. There's a carido machine (ATM I think) that I had to quit after 13 mins. It's like an elliptical but stair with ski poles. I little much for me right now.

I live across the river in NJ but work in NYC. I just signed up fro a gym by Port Authority. It isn't glam but I paid up front for 6 months and got 6 months free. Just finished my first work out.

I am totally a morning person, but the Y near me doesn't open until 5:00 and I need to be on the train to work at 5:30 so that doesn't work for me.

I don't know what's near you. My Y membership is about $80 a month. But the city recreation centers are $12.50 a month and Blink Fitness starts at $15 a month. I hope you're able to find something that works for you.

I just can't get up early enough to do morning workouts. I am still trying to find a decent price gym either my work or home. Not so easy.

I have not gotten either my eating OR my exercise right since my move to New York totally rearranged all my daily habits. Doesn't help that I'm dating a man who enjoys a cocktail in the evenings and I often join him.

My goal over the coming week is to restart a habit of morning workouts. I always avoid the Y during the couple weeks when it's full of people on New Year's Resolutions, but it's mid February and I haven't gone back! I miss being strong.

Hello!

Anyone want to share what their short and ling term goals fro 2019 are?

I realized that my weight has gone up and my home workouts are not working. I have started tracking my food and resolving to incorporate more into my work outs.
