They are fantastic actors and seem so real. I was terribly saddened when Hotch's wife died. I particilarly dislike the Director woman who is always picking on Hutch. I think she is way out of line and mean spirited.

I too am compalled to watch all the reruns and even though I had seen this episode the 1st time and knew what to expect it still tore at my heart and I cried. I was so glad that Jack hide so well that Reaper never found him.
As for Strauss she is such a B*tch, I too was happy to hear how the team relayed their version of what happened and for how they stick-up for Hotch.

Wow...I was thinking as I was watching it again, how hard this one was to watch over again and know what was coming. Much harder than the first time, I think. I cried again too!! This one was great acting though. and these guys are great in it!!!

I saw that episode when it first came on and last night. It still made me cry when Hotch's wife dies. Liz

I saw this episode the first time it came on, and I must say that this was the hardest episode for me to watch.

I loved how Hotch told his son to go "work the case" since he knew that he would hide in that spot.

When I saw Hotch on the phone and heard the shots, I just about lost it. That was the saddest thing ever.

It was sad the 1st time around, and equally sad this time around. Especially when Haylee knew what was going to happen and told Hotch to let Jack know he wasn't always so serious... then you hear the gunshots and then Garcia breaks down crying! Then sitting there watching Hotch go to town on the Foyet... you can't help but throw your fist in the air and scream at the tv to cheer him on.

While it's a powerful episode, it's probably one of my least favorite... just b/c of what happens to Haylee.

I didn't see it the first time it came on (got into Criminal minds very late in the game, still have a pavlovian response to the reruns in which case i have to watch them no matter what now--love this addiction). but it was on last night, the Reaper and Hotch final faceoff--all I can say is DAMN!!!

man, that was a heavy episode, and i was actually crying some. sheer emotion galore. i'd heard some of what would happen from others (and read about it), but wow, seeing it was just powerful. poor hotch and jack, poor team.

not to mention teriffic to see Strauss gradually getting off her high horse as the episode went on. she's just one of those people...grr... I gotta say, i was satisfied watching each team member give her a piece of their minds throughout the episode. it was believeable and needed. me likey.

what did you guys think of that episode? man, that was insane!
