when cbs promoted the episode they said something like you'll be shocked by who done it. first i thought the cop was involved or did it. but when they kept doing close ups of the other son i finally figured it out. i would of preferred some sick stranger killed him not his own brother but it is the cast that keeps me coming back week after week. emoticon emoticon

I think we all have the same idea. It is the team that keeps me coming back also. I was torn trying to decide if the mother, who kept taking drugs was involved, or if it was the brother, because of the strange way he was acting. When the police suggested looking the other way for the body I knew he was involved, but didn't know until the end what all the connections were.

Skinny, I'm right there with you. I like the solving aspect, but not the crime aspect. I love the team aspect and the interactions between them. I think that's why I like the shows and not the reality shows (court tv, stuff like that), because there's no relationship building.

I do have to say, the new episode (with the boys) had me guessing almost to the end. I knew it wasn't the "bad guy", but I sure was getting mixed signals on the rest...

Tonights'2nd episode was hard to handle, but I find most of them that way. The unnessessary deaths' of so many people up close and personal takes a kind of distance to keep watching week after week. I keep coming back due to the relationships of the team. That is the part of the show that I crave. Also the technical stuff is real interesting too.

your just like me. i have a hard time watching things that are about child abuse, or real life. i have an easier time with horror or things that are not true to life. but i really like criminal minds so i will watch and hope i am not up all night afterwards.

I'm like that too, BBDD. The preview for tonite indicates that young boys are being killed, and they have two separate people who have confessed and need to figure out who the true killer is.

I didn't see the previews. What is it supposed to be about? The one they did a year or so ago when the little boy was being auctioned off on the Internet disturbed me for days. CM is sensitive, but I just hate to think about such things at all. emoticon

I agree, they deal with a lot of disturbing issues, but seem to do them well.

I think CM does things in good taste, no matter how sensitive this issue is.

I know tomorrow's episode will be a tough one for me. I don't like episodes (of any show) that deal with child abuses. I know it happens in real life -- all too often, but I don't like 'going there' in my own head in order to follow the show. I hope it's done with a lot of compassion.
