I just bought Leslie Sansone's "4 Fast Miles." I was getting bored with my regular rotation and decided to add something new. It's a great low-impact workout and is easily modified to add or decrease intensity. Walking/marching in place, side-to-side stepping, knee lifts, front kicks and back kicks. Listening to Leslie talk is a bit on the annoying side. She seems like a very nice woman, but it gets tiring hearing it over and over. There is a music only version also available on the DVD - the voices are muted. I'll definitely check that out once I get the routine down pat.

Recently bought Leslie Sansone's 1 mile for 99 cents at the thrift store. I thought it would be lame, but it's turned into my "go to" tape for early, early morning workouts. 30 minutes is all I have to spare in the mornings and it starts out nice and easy for when I'm still half asleep. She adds light hand weights toward the end. I work up a decent sweat. The moves are very simple and easy on the joints.

More reviews to come later - 3 versions of TaeBo and 3 versions of Step Reebok to name a few.

I'd like to review Walk Away The Pounds - 4 Mile Super Challenge.

If your looking for something that doesnt almost kill you, something that is simple, easy and yet burns up about 400+ calories in an hour, then the 4 mile super challenge is for u. Its not dancing, its simple on the spot walking, some gentle kicks, side steps and knee lifts.. theres a little bit of arm work.. Listening to the tape everyday can get a little boring especially since the workout itself os rather sober... its not hi-fi or super fast, but it gets the job (of burning calories) done without making u puff and pant like u would be if u were chased by a mad dog halfway around the world!! :)

As Leslie Sansone says, u can still talk at any point while doing the workout.

Kickboxing for Dummies: consists of 3-ten minute workouts that can be strung together or used seperately. Great for beginners because it has a startout clip that explains/shows each kick/punch that you'll use. Each segment also starts out each new movement slowly and gradually adds on.
Cals burned: ___/30 min
Level: Beginner

Thanks, Fleurdelis Queen, for the idea. I use a lot of workout DVDs since I get bored easily and I hate working out at the gym. Write a quick review of the videos you use to include what you like/dislike about it, what level experience ect.
