I haven't used the meal plans. I plan my own.

Is anyone trying to use the meal plans. Cause I'm having to deviate complete or change it. So I was wondering if it was working for anyone

I started Stage 2 earlier in the week. But I have also been tracking calories all along...even when I go way over!! I have also been trying to get at least 30 minutes of aerobics in 6 days a week at home. My problem still is simply thinking about food...I feel as though it rules me...I wonder if I will always be wondering "what/when I can eat next"? This is so frustrating......

I got an email from SP telling me it was time to move to Stage 2 - but I've been scared to make the switch.

Which - is silly - now that I read that in print.

I've been tracking everything that goes into my mouth from the very beginning as well. My problem is just the opposite. I'm a carboholic. That little pie graph is something I really like too.

I've been using the nutrition tracker since the start - it's really helped me, especially with portions. I try to preplan my meals for the day (I can't plan much more in advance than that!)

My problem is actually getting enough calories, especially from carbs since my workouts have increased. I think we're so flooded with the "CARBS ARE EVIL" that I focused on cutting them out too much. Now I'm learning to add them back in without going crazy.

I really like the report you can look at that show's you a pie graph of where your calories are coming from versus what is recommended. Very helpful

I moved to stage 2 on Monday I think. Tracking the calories wasn't so hard for me since I had been doing it from the start. It has really opened my eyes as to how many calories certain things are so now I try to plan ahead a little more with meals. Especially when I think we might be eating out. When that is the case I try to have a smaller breakfast and/or lunch to make up for any "monster" calories that might happen with dinner. Besides that you can look back and see what a meal you might want that day may be as far as calories go and maybe change an item or two to fit into your allowed numbers. Just remember this is a way to get to your goal!! emoticon

SP will let you know when it is time to move from stage to stage. If you do not feel ready to move on you don't have to at that time. If you move on and want to go back a stage you can do that, also.

In order to get a true feeling of everything, every calorie including condiments, butter, dressings, etc. should be entered on your tracker. It is amazing how many calories those types of things have.

MAGA68 if you look at the bottom of the start page it will tell you what stage you are in. You move into stage 2 after 2 weeks of being at Spark. Hope that helps.

I'm now in stage 2, been tracking my calories for the past 4 days, and only gone over once. It's definately made me realise how much I was overeating before!!

I thought it would be really hard to stay within the ranges, but to my suprise, I'm not finding it hard at all. Maybe I have more motivation and determination this time around. I know how bad I want to lose this weight, and I will do whatever it takes.

I think the key is to not deny yourself the foods you love, just have them in moderation, you'll only crave them otherwise, then most likely end up bingeing.

I'm also trying my hardest to walk everyday, anywhere between 10-30 minutes is my aim.

If you stay within your calorie range and exercise then you will succeed.

Keep at it!! emoticon

I moved to stage 2 yesterday but today was not a great day for me so I am not totally where I should be in this change. It is pretty tough but I know I can do it...it just takes a little more time, dedication and persistence but I am worth it.

Good luck and God bless!

Has anyone else moved from Stage 1 to Stage 2? I am a little freaked out about counting every calorie, as I have been letting some of the little things like butter (ha!) slid in my tracker.
