Juno is the Roman goddess of marriage, childbirth, and pregnancy. She was the consort of Jupiter. She lends her name to the month of June, a month believe to bring luck to a marriage. Her Greek counterpart is Hera.

She was a goddess that settled disagreements, particularly between spouses and children. Each woman was at one time to have her own Juno, meaning a female spirit.

The mother goddess's responsibilities were also to manage the household. She was responsible for the "finances" of Olympus. She was the matron of the royal mint.

As Hera, she was the only goddess to accompany a woman through all aspects of life. She was known as "Queen of Heaven." The spurting of her breast milk was thought to create our galaxy, The Milky Way.

Although this goddess is famous for being vicious and vindictive, she was also steadfast. A virtuous partner. She wasn't afraid to hold her own. She encouraged her followers to trust their wisdom in relationships and not be afraid to call someone out when they've done something wrong.

To honor Juno/Hera take time to nurture your personal relationships. Check out your finances and budget plan. Take a stroll through nature and admire the stars her gala (mother's milk) created. Sit under a maple or fig tree and enjoy the sounds of June. The warmth of summer.
