I too have cravings for things that aren't good for me. Giving in to cravings is easy but the results are hard to get off.
My name is Lottie and Ia live in eastern NC. I have got to lose alot of weight as it is causing alot of health issues. I hope that this team will give me some inspiration and motivation as sometimes I hurt so bad that getting out of bed is what I consider exercise.

I think combining is a good idea... Taking what you can that is workable from the paleo plan
The cravings can be hard to deal with, I know it's an area I need to work on as well

I think the book had a lot of great motivating ideas, but it was stuff I think I already knew. I thought it may have some food recipes too, but you have to get the other book for that. I'm trying to stick with this eating right and exercising to feel better, but these last 2 wks has been so hard. Fibro has been kicking me hard! I don't think I can really follow the Paleo diet, it's way to expensive and to unpractical for a family to follow. I am getting some suggestions from it and applying it with other healthy stuff. I'm just trying my best to incorporate a healthy way of life instead of a drastic diet. This is what I've always had trouble doing too!! It get soooo very hard!! I get to going good then I get to craving stuff and then I just give up and eat bad. I've got to rewire my thinking!!

hi susan, that's great that you are being inspired by the new book ... are you following a paleo plan or just reading and applying some of the ideas currently? ... that fine line with exercise and needing to keep things balanced can be really tricky I'm finding

Hi! I have had fibromyalgia for at least 10 years but I have only been diagnosed for about 4 years. I stopped working in 2011 and I have been trying hard to find ways to help me feel better on my own. I've noticed that pushing myself to do the Jillian Micheal's DVDs helps, but I really have to know the fine line of over doing it. I just received the Paleo approach book from my son for mother's day and so far it seems to be aspiring me.

hi, it's really good to see you here :-) and very good to know that exercise has been helping you with the pain - they had a curves near me briefly but sadly it closed down a few weeks before I was going to try it!

Hi Liberty Joy Welcome as the team leader. I have had fibromyalgia and advanced osteoarthritis for 24 years now. Trying hard to lose weight also. I workout at Curves 3 to 4 times a week. Exercise has been helping somewhat with the pain. Nice to have you as our team leader. I will try my best to post on this team.

I just joined the team and found there wasn't a leader so joined in that role because I'd love to see this team active
I know I need the support and I'm sure others could use it as well
