I use a generic brand called Stevia in the Raw. I personally love it, but my husband hates it. It does have a bit of an aftertaste at first, but keep using it. It actually goes away after a while. I personally love it. And it is cheaper than Splenda. At least the Walmart generic brand is.

I use stevia (Truvia) all the time. For those who dislike the taste I would say don't use so much. Remember it's very sweet and you need much less than you do of sugar or other artificial sweeteners. If you're using it like you used to use sugar you're going to get the bitter aftertaste. Use less and it tastes much better. I try my best to avoid all things that have aspertame in them as it's hard on folks with fibromyalgia and I have no problems at all with truvia.

I don't like Stevia; it has a bitter taste to me. Something I have used as a sweetener is D-Ribose powder. It's very expensive and not calorie-free, but I use it sparingly and feel like I am getting some added value in addition to the sweetness.

I have had good results with Stevia (Truvia) and have used it regularly for over a year now.

It's all I use as an add-in sweetener. In my tea and almond milk; on popcorn; on toast with cinnamon (no butter) and on berries. Plus any other place one would normally put sugar.

I have never cooked with it, though, because of the cost.

A goal without a plan is just a wish.

I use Truvia or Pure Vis, they are suppose to be natural.

all the artificial sugars give me insane migraines too. I wonder why stevia tastes the same as the other artificial sugars if it is made from a natural plant. I think it tastes just as nasty as the others too. I don't think I can get used to it.

I've been using it recently in coffee, and I actually am starting to wonder if it's triggering my all-day-long insatiable hunger, but I have no basis for that whatsoever. It does not seem to have any of the adverse effects that chemical sugar substitutes have on me, like instant crushing migraines.

Can I get opinions about using Stevia sweetener.
One of my doctors has recommended it but I've been told otherwise by different doctors.
