I am so glad to hear you all commenting on these items. This was fun to have a laugh with but on the other hand, it is so true for us!! I can identify with many of the items. Hope you all are getting to bed now and having a restful, peaceful night!! Me, I am up for a while as usual. Can't sleep well so try to challenge my brain at night!! emoticon

Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner.
Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.

I can SO relate to this; lol

This last week I left out a new 5 lbs of ground beef for 3 days because I forgot I didn't put it in the freezer when we got home from shopping and had to throw it away. And today, I realized that I have misplaced a package of frozen beef heart. I know it's laying around somewhere. I had seen it in my freezer last Saturday and had planned to make soup with it but after totally cleaning out both freezers and checking the frig, I STILL can't find it! I suppose when it smells, we'll be able to locate it pretty easily though. such is my life..:(

Laughter is good, although some days pain just makes us not feel happy enough to laugh.

Posts like these don't get my laundry done, but somehow always make me feel better. I know my laundry isn't alone :)

I found this on Sue Falkner-Wood's Blog- www.everydayhealth.com/blog/life-wit

chronic-pain/you-know-you-have-chronR>ic-fatigue-when/

"Life with Chronic Pain: A How-to Guide"
She believes in finding the humor in our pain struggles.

YOU KNOW YOU HAVE CHRONIC FATIGUE WHENÖ

You canít lift off from the bedside in the morning without feeling like someone has tied your feet to the floor.

Your trip into the bathroom is as arduous as climbing Mt. Everest.

Even though you splash a handful of water on your face, you donít bother to brush your teeth because it would jar your head and take too much strength.

You climb back into bed with a comforting groan, while glaring at the alarm clock with malice in your heart.

Your bed begins to feel like your cocoon, your haven and your primary residence.

You begin to make out lists, long and complicated lists of what you need to do; because you find youíre forgetting some important chores and obligations. Such as yesterday, when you saw the date on the newspaper you had not read in several days and realized the bills were due five days ago.

You lose your list.

You donít really care that you lost your list.

Even though youíre hungry, the sad reality hits you that you cannot eat take-out every night.

After giving it much thought, you call for pizza delivery. You eat it with just the tiniest bit of guilt flavoring.

You find yourself buying pre-grated cheese, frozen food, frozen desserts and more paper plates.

You buy a new electric can opener.

When you do cook, you are not the good cook you once were. You burn food because you forgot you turned up the burner. You canít serve food because you forgot to turn on the oven or you did turn it on and forgot it and find those rock hard dinner rolls the next day.

You decide that a burnt pan canít be saved and throw it in the trash. All that scrubbing is way beyond your scope.

You decide your mother was wrong. You can sleep on sheets longer than two weeks without changing them.

The area beside your bed looks like a large bird is building a nest there.

Your loads of laundry are getting larger and larger.

You re-wash that load of towels you washed last weekend.

You fluff and re-fluff, just becauseÖthen you donít have to fold and carry.

If it canít be washed and dried, you donít buy it, wear it or even like it.

You long for the old-fashioned phones that you could rest on your shoulder because your arms become fatigued holding these tiny portable phones.

Youíre in love with caller ID. It enables you to ignore so many more people.

You thank God each day for remote controls, microwave ovens and instantÖanything.

Bedtime is your favorite time of day or night.

Now, all of that is just my life with constant fatigue; howís yours?
