I'm sorry to hear about your son. How frustrating!! It's so hard when our kids hurt and it seems like no matter what is done, it doesn't help. Is there another med that can be tried? I wish there was something more that I can do. I'll keep you both in my prayers. emoticon

is really struggling with flares here lately. He's home from school today because he's hurting so much, and the pain medicine isn't touching it. I'm so frustrated because we had such high hopes for the Orencia when he started it 6 months ago It was supposed to be the "big gun" that gave us the best hope for remission. Not only haven't we seen any improvement, but he's worse. Not as bad as he was in the very beginning before we started treatment, but pretty bad.

I wish I could take this from him. I'd take it double if he could be free of it.

Being an emotional eater when you have a chronically sick kid sucks. Carrot sticks just aren't the same as chocolate, you know. But I'm TRYING not to blow it. It's HARD.
