Xena FINALLY starts Pre-K next Tuesday and we started today acclimating to the earlier wake up. Technically, it's not that much later than the baby already wakes me up, but they fought bedtime last night, so it's taking it's toll on me. It's been a long time since I had to actually be up consistently at a specific time. And even longer since it was an early consistent time. Getting both of us up and ready to be out the door is a huge concern for me right now. As of our practice run today, we would have made it out the door just in time.

Slightly less of a worry the the separation anxiety factor. I don't think it's going to be an issue as she's really excited to go to school, however that doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Lots of parent go through a similar separation anxiety, the abnormality of not being with your baby 100% of the time. I'm actually quite relieved. She has been causing me so much anxiety lately with her behavior it's unimaginable. I'm really hoping the structure of school is going to help alleviate some of that.

So who's going through the same right now... or just went through it as a lot of schools already started back.
