Things that have helped me are giving myself rewards, getting an exercise buddy, putting pictures or sayings around the house, and putting my workout clothes on and making myself workout. I have to change what I do when my motivation gets too low. Just keep trying new things until something works.

My suggestion (and I need to take this some days too) is to just shoot for 10 minutes a day. There has got to be a block of 10 minutes that you can do SOMETHING!

I was just reading something that said, "motivation follows action," meaning that sometimes the best motivation is simply doing something and remembering how good it feels to do it. What I am trying to do is to take one small step and do it, whether I want to or not. Simply doing it and feeling good about it gives me motivation to do it again. Right now for me it's getting up 40 minutes earlier so I can work out and have a bit of quiet time before I have to get the kids up and ready to go. I've been doing it for three days, and the first two days I really didn't want to, but it was SO nice to have that time, and this morning, I looked forward to getting up, and felt motivated to actually go to bed at a decent time so I could get up.

Not sure what i can do to get back to the healthy lifestyle that i was living. Please help me, I need ideas for workouts and motivation to get back to a healthier me!
