My grandmother had 2# weights that I've been using just trying to get the feeling of using them, my 2 year old has taken to carrying them around and lifting them, and telling me they're "heavy". It'll be interesting to see what she says when i actually go out and get weights that are more appropriate for my level of strength.

This topic is pretty funny. My 4 yr old doesn't heckle me he just always has something he needs me for. AAAHHH!!!! Drives me crazy because my workout is also my mental health time. However, it does crack me up when he tries to work out with me. He uses 1 pound weights sometimes. Sometimes out of the blue he will tell my he is exercising. Atleast I'm making a good impression.

My 2 and half year old son sits on my back while doing ANYTHING in the plank position during Insanity. He's my little drill sergeant, making sure that I'm really "digging deeper". emoticon

This message board is HILARIOUS! I can totally relate to the kids hanging of your back, laughing, or imitating my panting while I struggle to do a Jillian Michael's workout. Also, my daughter very innocently calls me her "Big Momma" because since she's my "Little Lady" I must be the big momma, right!?

My girls love to get on my back when I am "trying" to do a plank. They yell, "Giddyup horsey!!" Very motivating . . .

My kiddos heckle me too! Makes me work harder. Besides I love hearing my little guy giggle.. Even if it is at me.. lol

Lucky you! My daughter doesn't heckle, but God forbid I try to get my workout in while she's awake. She hangs onto my leg during cardio and uses me as a sliding board while doing push ups or planks. I think I'd rather be heckled. Well, my husband heckles, until he tries to keep up with me... then the tables are turned. Bwahahahah!

So I do my treadmill workout today and then I do push ups through a lot of pain in my arms and chest from weightlifting yesterday- So I'm moaning and groaning through them and my 3 yr old calls me a baby! real nice huh! no one bugs me at the gym But i get heckled in my own home! Lol! He's such a punk!




I will not get diabetes, sleep apnea or another obesity related illness due to my lack of willpower or weakness over food. I am STRONG in mind, body and spirit!
