My daughter was doing okay again until the time change. She just turned 1 year. Last night I was in the recliner with her b/c she wouldn't go to sleep in our bed. She is stuffy and she's cutting 7 teeth so I guess she has some excuse for being a bit cranky. She does well for awhile and then she goes through a stage where she wakes up once or twice or ends up in bed w/us. I have no idea why and lately I feel so exhausted. I'm hoping her teeth come in soon. Like your child she seems to prefer our food but since she only has 1 tooth(so far) I've been sticking to baby food. I guess it's time to branch out and give her more of our food. She's in the 14% for weight and the doctor would like her to gain, but she's growing, active and is a good eater(when it's something she likes) so I'm not stressing too much over it. Hope you get some sleep soon.

Trying to get back to my maintenance weight range of 145-150.

Once my 2nd child tasted solid food she would not eat the baby food. I don't know if this is the case with your 11 month old, but you could try more "adult" food (cut into tiny, tiny pieces) and that might get their appetite up.

I also think the idea about moving the crib will help too.

Good luck!

I am at a loss I never thought in a million years I would have a child that was 11 months old and still not sleeping through the night. she now will not really want to eat she kinda fusses and sometimes she will fuss a bit and go back to sleep. its like she dosent want to be awake and unhappy she is. she dosent drink much at night anymore. Im thinking about moving her crib. we put her in the sitting room that is off our bedroom but in direct eye contact with our bed. Im thinking we are just going to have to move the crib so she can not see us and these little fussy attacks we dont hear and give her a opportunity to go to sleep on her own.
My other concern is i dont think she eats enough . the peditrician says shes gaining and in her percentile though on the low side they are not worried with it. But I know she should be eatting more then a 2nd stage amount of baby food a day. I am lucky if she eats 2 oz all day. she has been eatting more of our food I think she likes the texture and foods she can feed her self like puffs and cereal but I know she prob would sleep better if I could get her to eat more.
