Thanks. I ended up running 10 miles. I felt very strong and ran a little faster normal. My pace was less than a tempo but faster than a LSD.

Stick to your program - I don't think the extra week of taper will hurt you. Just make sure to keep the intesity of your running up even though the mileage has decreased.

I am no expert on it but I think you would do fine if you ran the 10 again. I think that's about what my last marathon training plan had me do the week before.
Of course if you feel any fatigue back off on the distance but I think you will do great :)

I messed up on my marathon training schedule and accidently started my taper one week too early. I should have ran my final long run last week rather than the week before. Last week I ran 10 miles which is the distance I should be running this week. My question is what distance should I run this weekend? Should I repeat the 10 miler or run a little further so I can rebuild my higher mileage base? I know repeating a 20 miler would be a bad idea 2 weeks prior to my marathon but what should I run?
