I haven't yet. Have yet to have the opportunity. Figure doing it on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon would be best since I can walk around afterwards with my wife and daughter in the Inner Harbor and try to burn some off....

I'll definitely let you know what happens when I finally do "pony up"...

Hey DRIVE,
Did you and your son ever use the "all you can eat" option at Camden Yards? I was wondering how that worked out for you...

DRIVE,
Sounds like there is no problem at all with taking advantage of this option! Just go with your son and have a great time!

I don't know who can go to a baseball game and not eat a hotdog. Especially an Orioles game where they serve Esskay hotdogs. They are the best.

We went and had a great time. Only ate the hot dog and had a soda. You can go out of the area and get other thing to eat I'm sure. The seats were great. I went on a T shirt Tuesday. Had to get my Kevin Millar shirt. I always have a hot dog when I go. Course the kids love all the junk.

I've never been in that section either. I've never heard of it before. But, I would like to find out more about it.
Here's my look on it. I firmly believe that in dieting, you HAVE to have a day where you cheat on your plan. Eat what you want. And if you use the baseball game to do this, then by time you go to the game, and you eating right up until then. Your stomach should shrink quite conciderably. You won't be able to eat as much as you think. I would seriously use that day as cheat day and enjoy it with no regrets.
One quick note. Cheating once weekly/bi-weekly can boost your metabolism into a shock, and the next day when you eat right again, it's tricked again and will burn even more fat preventing your plateau.

I've never used that option, so I can't answer your question. However, this is a situation that calls for thought. How does one manage it? I usually bring my own food when I go to a game. But I do eat a hot dog, just because I'm at a game. So, you could plan ahead to allow yourself to eat some of the high-cal/low-nutrient foods. You could probably go online to find out what foods are served at the Yard. Or you could call and ask what's included in this package. If water is an option, it'd be nice to know that you could drink as much of that as you wanted. Bottom line would be: find out what your choices are and make a plan for how to get your money's worth without feeling lousy about what you ate.

Let us know what you decide to do!

For the last couple years the O's offered this "option" in their ticket plan and my son is dying to use it... anybody ever get a ticket in that section? Anything healthy to eat in that mess?

For those who don't know, this is a left field section that packages your seat and all you can eat food... Hot dogs, nachos, soda etc. I'm kind of gun shy to get seats in this section since I would be stuck paying for a bunch of food I shouldn't be "all you can eating".
