Yes, I use a foam roller to keep my hips, hip flexors, and ITB stretched, trouble areas for me. I used to have trouble with sore hip flexors, and I use K-tape to support them in my long runs and races. See youtu.be/vISZoa5HM8Y as a demo. Be careful not to overstretch.

Have you tried rolling them out with a lacrosse ball? I find that lying on the ground (face down) with the lacrosse ball. See link below--I find this has been a gem for me!

Sore sore sore, all the time! Will it ever go away? My yoga teacher showed me some stretches to do and that helps but they are still sore.
