I run every other day and do have a treadmill in the basement, but I can't tell you the last time I used it. If it looks threatening I'll either wait, if possible, or run a short circle repeatedly so I'm never do far from home if it really starts thundering or lightening. Rain alone is not an issue for me.

I donít run every day so I do most of my workouts at homeÖ. I usually catch up on ST and other cardio using free internet sites. Like you, money is tight so I get creative on my workouts.
I really like They have a myriad of workouts from HIIT to yoga to ST and cardio. Levels of intensity are different.
Another one of my faves is She also has walking DVDís and although I have never tried them, Iíve heard great things.
I also use YouTube when I want something different and SP workouts.
Although some workouts will ask for equipment, ie dumbbells, resistance bands etc you will find ones that just use your body weight which can be effective if done right.

Good Luck!

What a nice officer to give you a lift home emoticon

I also have a bike and dreadmill in my house, so can do any of those. One of the most fun workouts I have done is when I put a bunch of exercises on their own piece of paper, and pull them out of a hat....if I get too many strength training ones in a row, I throw in burpees, skipping rope, high knees, or something other cardio in between. Resistance bands are a great and economical way to amp up your at home workouts....should be available at your local sporting goods store. Hit the internet and use the spark videos, and also utube vids, and you will have a ton at your disposal.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes:):)

If all you get is all you give, then you should only give all you''ve got.

I was out today and a storm came up, now I don't mind the rain but it was dangerous out. I was able to make it to a covered car park and a friendly off duty cop offered me a ride home. I'm on rotations for school so I don't have the money for a gym membership. What do you all do on stormy days if you can't go to the gym?
