I don't have a specific brand, but I do find that I have to have actual running shorts with the little panty thing built in. Underwear and running...not your friend! LOL!! I got some from Target, some from Meijer's and Penney's, and I also have some Nike and Adidas. Not sure what I am going to go with when it gets cooler...I love my tank tops and running shorts!
I have a couple that I bought at Target, but I wear biker shorts underneath them, then I have a pair of fitted capris that I like the best to run in, they are from Target too
I found a pair of TekGear shorts that I love, they are longer, but not capris and with looser, yet still fitted legs. Unfortunately, even though I tried all the Kohls stores in my area, I couldn't find another pair in my size.
skirtsports was my first, and I LOVE it. My sparkle skirt fits differently but just as well, it is more swishy, lol. I also have 2 very sparkly sparkle skirts that have no shorts built in, but they are for costumes for the Disney Marathon. They are also very swishy

I'm a curvy girl, too, and I only wear running skirts. The shorts underneath keep me from chafing and the skirt just looks cute. Well, I did say that I'm a girl

I have some under armor shorts that are super comfy but I mostly wear my 2 running skirts. One is a sparkle skirt and one is skirtsport skirt. Both have built in shorts underneath.

I have about 3 pairs of Adidas shorts. I like the fact that they all have pockets (I carry my inhaler). Most important is the bike shorts I wear underneath . I have a white pair and a black pair from Under Armour. They come in different lengths and make running so much more comfortable since I don't notice my shorts riding up at all and no chafing what's so ever! I wear capris in the cooler months but not in July and August when the temp and humidity are up there.

I only have one pair of shorts that I like (Nike), and the rest act like you say - definitely don't stay in their place. I like the two pairs of skort I got at SkirtSport. I also like both pairs of capris that I have - one is a Nike brand, and the other is a Running Room brand.
I like quite a few. Nike has some great running shorts, but they're short. Champion has longer ones, but they fit a bit tight on my thighs. SAMs club carried some a while ago that I like

I'm finding that, as a curvy girl, running shorts just fit weird... they creep or whatever. I have one skort that works the best, but I need more than 1 running outfit. I am also kind of picky... I don't like super short shorts... is that my problem?
