I now know why they say not to do too much traveling during your 3rd trimester. We stopped a lot - mostly because of my bladder. A 3.5 hour trip became 6 hours. It would have been 5, but we were moving at a snail's pace for about an hour at one point because of traffic.

I have cleared travel with my doctor for Thanksgiving. Much to my DHs dismay, we have to stop at least twice in a four hour trip. :) We usually stop at least once anyway, but he does not like stopping at all. I think my bladder will probably make us stop anyway.

Week 28 and going well. I have been lucky enough not to have any issues. I am getting more and more excited, plus my cousin, whom I'm really close to, is pregnant as well. It's definitely a fun time.

Hi Everyone! I have a 12 yr old step-son. We have been discussing having another couple of kids for the past several years. I am 36 and we are expecting in January 2019. I have also created a team for those who want to maintain their fitness through pregnancy, it's called Fit and Pregnant. www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/groups_individ
ual.asp?gid=69954

I created it simply for support and so I can support others. I would love for anyone who is pregnant to join or share with friends who are pregnant.

Hi everyone I’m 33. I have a 15 year old girl and A 12 year old girl. Then we decided to try for that boy. Which we got he will be 3 on the 29 of this month. I lost the weight and now am in magnance mood. I’ve gotten a bit out of routine and need to get back to doing more exercising before the weight decides to creep back on.

Hi there! I will be 39 next month! I can't believe it! I have a 17 month old and a 6 1/2 year old. I just joined a gym this week so I can get serious about working out! I am so glad the gym has a child care area so I can drop off my 17 month old for an hour while I work out. I am so happy to finally be doing something for myself. These past 17 months have been nothing but staying home and taking care of baby. Now it's time to take care of ME!!! I am excited to get back into amazing shape and do it without any distractions.

Congrats on staying with your baby :) that's a very big deal especially for working moms. That transitions can be hard (it was for me.. and now I've been a stay at home mom/work at home mom for 4 years and absolutely love it).

Daily exercises are so important especially when you are home most of the time.

You sound very determined!! Go you :)

If you need any inspiration or motivation let me know :) I workout 6 times a day right now. It was hard at first figuring out the baby schedule and all that, but it becomes easier :)

Hang in there!!! You can do it!!! emoticon

I know how you feel when it comes to the motivation part. I don't work anymore now that I have my 6 week old son, but I've never been a stay at home mom so the motivation part has been lacking lately. What I find helpful is when I watch tv I've been trying to do some kind of exercise like bicep curls during commercials, leg lifts, crunches or something in between feelings and naps lol.

I didn't do well on spark people before but I didn't give it a 100% either. This time I plan to.

Good luck and stay with Spark! It really is a good site. emoticon emoticon

I just turned 31. I have a 14 month old daughter. I work full time and always put other people first. I'm still carrying around a bit of baby weight and trying to lose the extra weight I had on BEFORE I got pregnant. I'm currently 176lbs and I'm trying to get back to 160lbs or less. I just want to fit into my size 10 jeans again! I've been having a hard time getting into a routine (exercise and eating) and have been seeing a dietician for help. She recommended sparkpeople.com and suggested I get involved in a few groups for support. I hope I can find that here. Getting motivated going into winter is not the easiest (it's cold and snowy here). I don't have time nor can I afford a gym membership so I'm trying to do everything at home or at work. I have a desk job, but do have time to walk and exercise at work if I so choose. Just lacking the motivation right now.

I'm 30 as of 10 days ago. I have a set of two year old twins and I'm a full time student. I'm also a single mom. I currently weigh 147 and my goal is 121. Finding time to work out between babies and school is HARD!!!!!! Luckily my parents live close by and they are 100% supportive of me getting healthy. They are willing to come over and watch the twins so I can do homework since I work out while they are napping. It's nice to know I'm not the only person that struggles to find time to work out.

I have a five month old. I was able to lose the weight very fast but I am look worse than when I got pregnant. I have no muscle and just a blob. I joined a 24 hour gym and that is helping. When my little one goes down at 9:30 pm, I head to the gym. It is hard. I am very tired. I try to work out with her. I do push ups and come down for a kiss. I do hip bridgees holding her. the heavy she gets the harder it gets. We do tummy time together. I use that time to strengthen my back. It is hard and I am trying to get creative! I also have an 8 year old that I can't keep up with anymore.

I am on the same boat with everyone here. I am a stay at home mom with a a toddler and a three month old and it is hard to get back to motivated and finding the time. My husband and I gave up not exercising for lent and have been on day two of exercising. We both eat pretty healthy but putting exercise into the plan is the game. I would love to meet other moms or dads that are on the same journey to help motivate each other along the way. Feel free to msg me.

I am 30 years old and have a ten month old son. I'm originally from PA but now live in the eastern panhandle of WV. I weighed 164 when I got pregnant and am currently 175. My goal weight is 135. I work 2-3 days a week, opposite my husband because we can't afford child care, and I want to be the one to raise my baby anyway. It's too difficult to get out of the house regularly to exercise, so I purchased a stationary bike and started riding it last week. My goal is to ride it five days a week, for at least 30 minutes, doing ten miles; that's my goal anyway. emoticon I would love to meet people with similar goals for moral support.

Hi! I have two kids (5 year old girl and 2 year old boy). I work full time and my husband works crazy hours a lot of the times. I am going to start running tonight but with my husband's work schedule, it's going to be difficult to get a steady routine. I'm determined to do this though!

I'm with you! I have a 2 year old son and a 6 month old daughter. My husband and I work opposing shifts so we don't have to put the kids in daycare, so I'm up and working about 7 am. Once the kids are FINALLY in bed around 9 pm, I'm just too tired to do anything then. :(

Hi!
My daughter is 5 months old. I'm trying so hard to lose the baby weight and get back to healthy habits. I want her to have a good food and exercise role model. I love to run but lately it has been so difficult. My husband works late sometimes and I don't have the gumption to run late at night. We have a jogging stroller but she's not old enough for it yet. Anyone else in the same boat?

Working out while pregnant or having small children brings different challenges! Too tired, bedrest, baby belly, kids in the way, etc... This is a place to find support!
