Nice to have a hard-copy of the journal, but you can download it for free if you have a printer. I hope no-one feels that HAVE to buy the journal - I've never used it and got on just fine with posting here each day.

Thanks Gill for the info about the 7 Keys. I'm still straining my brain to physically write down any answers to Keys 3 & 5 but here goes another attempt. I know I will profit if I do it but I won't beat myself up if I don't. I've struggled with many of Linda's lessons and why I try to follow #7, learn and grow.

I like what many of you shared about the "reward" of good health and feelings of success when making good choices.

Linda's last email I received indicated she will be blogging each of her days on her blog and also on Spark People. I'm excited to go through the book with her!

If you don't have the journal, or haven't printed it, don't worry. You will be able to follow along on each day by reading Linda's blog and then participating in the thread for that day. We learn a LOT from each other and add to the conversation that way.

Materials downloaded and the book is on my iPad, so I can travel with it.
I'm not sure whether I will use a material reward system or not.
I really like the concept of better health being the reward :)

I have my bracelet charm from the first time I followed 100 Days (a remember knot). I rarely wear the bracelet so I do not see it often.

My better health is my reward. Weight loss and better health. I have not come up with an item.

I've had the book for a while now and though I've been tempted to start early I've managed to wait! I did print some of the materials Linda provided. I'll be journaling and using the dot calendar which I haven't done in the past for any length of time. I've rewarded myself in the past with a piece of jewelry or something of that sort but now my reward will be better health, stamina, mobility and just the joy of becoming more disciplined and having a better relationship with food - a healthy one! That will make me happier than anything else I can think of!

Love her 7 keys to stay motivated at the beginning of the book. Anyone know if this new or did I just miss it in the first 100DWL book? Motivation is major. I plan to either print or write out each one and work on them until we start.

After some thought and checking out the free printable journal I've decided another "magic notebook" is best for me. Like in my 100 DWL study, I will write on the front of each page and leave the backside blank in case I want to repeat the lessons. I thoroughly enjoyed, learned things and made some progress by re-reading my past responses.

I'm still working on a reward. emoticon

I printed the free materials yesterday, including the journal. I wish I could get the book now, but I am glad she has the free journal available for 100 MORE Days like she did for the 100 Days.

As for a reward system, I'm not sure yet.
I'll come up with something.

and will be checking this team for ideas :)

I don't have the 100 days book and still followed the team just fine. I did print the resources and journal from the weightlossjoy.com website. That was helpful. I printed 100 more days journal and I am ready.

Penny I wouldn't worry because you can understand what each day is about by reading member responses regarding the day's message. I tried to make my posts clear enough that Linda's topic of the day can be understood by those who don't have the book, and will continue doing so. I will do the jar too for $5 a pound. I tried this before and it wasn't helpful with my now ex-hubby always "borrowing" the money! That was when I paid myself $2 a pound. Think I'll try the $5/lb for more incentive.

I do have an app I can use to track with. I'll go see the free downloads and see if I'll use that instead.

I'll do a money jar. The challenge is around 14 weeks. Each week I stay within my boundaries I'll put 10 dollars in the jar. I've done this before. At end I can reward myself with a nice outfit.

That's a good idea - I wasn't going to 'do' the reward thing......... but maybe I could collect a shell every day - to make sure I walk on the beach every day - and create a new collection at my new home. When I see them it will remind me what I've achieved.

I decided to do a quarter jar- Quarters for Pelotonia.

At the end of the 100 days I will have $25 in quarters that can be donated to cancer research.

Because 100 MORE Days of Weight Loss is designed to work with any diet plan, you get to choose your own method for losing weight. So decide on the program you want to use, then simply follow these steps to a successful 100 days!

Step One - Choose your best diet plan

If you need help with choosing a diet plan, take the quiz at www.thedietquiz.com .

Step Two - Do your plan for 100 days

Complete one lesson from the book each day, setting a goal of staying on your weight-loss plan for100 consecutive days.

Step Three - Track your progress

In addition to using this journal to record your insights and ideas, come up with a visual way to track your 100 days. You might write each day’s number on a calendar or on a wall chart.
