bump - in case anyone wants a link to the Dot Calender (Day 94) go to the first post in the thread to find a link. Also in this thread, people have shared other ways of doing the Dot Calender

Peg since it's close to Halloween, how about skull & crossbone stickers for red days?

Just looked into this Dot Calendar today and will start giving it a try. I'm using stars which are nice, except if it is "red" I should look for something different for red, as that isn't something I really want to see on the calendar.
So far, today is looking like a green, but the hardest part of my day hasn't come yet (the evening with fixing dinner, cleaning up from dinner and making lunches for tomorrow).
Wish me luck!

I posted a picture of mine in yesterday's blog. I could just use a regular calendar, but I like the one provided as it has nice big squares.

Do you know - I don't have a working printer, so I kind of passed this by - but I'm going to draw one for myself on a sheet of A3 paper.

I cannot weigh daily either, as I have no scale (yet) but I did have a star chart in the past, and it does help me stay motivated.

I drew a large "X" in each box to create four quadrants. The top one is where my green dot goes (and hopefully not too many red or yellow ones) The left quadrant is my exercise plan for the day

C- for Cardio
S- for Strength
R- for Rest

I am currently on a cycle of Cardio-Strength-Cardio-Rest and that is working well for me.

The right quadrant is where I write my points consumed that day (on Weight Watchers) and could also be used to write calories consumed if that were what I was tracking.

The bottom quadrant is my daily weigh in, at 7 AM every day on my doctor's scale. I do not freak out about minor fluctuations in the scale number, thanks to Linda Spangle's wonderful book "Friends With the Scale".

At month end I have a very visual review of how things went and can tweak my goals for the next month accordingly.

For August the 24 and 31 shared a square, so I just created a new 31 in one of the empty squares at the top :)

Thanks for posting this. For me, the dot calendar always helps me stay on track. I can stand back from it and see exactly why I'm not making progress.

This is the link for the support materials that are free when you have purchased the 100 days of weightloss book. The first time you go to the site, you will need to input your e-mail address to sign up for the free weekly newsletter in order to get to the page above.

Once you are there, remember to bookmark this page for future use!

This is where you download the 100 days journal and also where you can access the dot calendar which is labeled "3 month tracking chart to monitor progress".

If you are using the free version, print the chart on your home printer. It comes up in PDF form.

If you purchased the $30 per year Diet Coach program on the author's site, then you will be able to use the chart and update it online.

I am using the free version as it seems I do better when I can put my hands on things ;)
