Perfect timing for this one. I started back to the gym and did some intervals on the tread mill.

I picked a few cardio moves alternating with marching in place while dinner was in the oven, followed by a beautiful yoga video in the Yoga With Adriene 30 days of Yoga video. It was SO relaxing!

I use the Leslie Sansone tapes frequently and the ones with interval training are by far my favorite, The intervals seem to give me not only a physical boost but a psychological boost as well.

We did intervals yesterday in the fitness class I attend (called Kegals, Core, and More - yesterday was all about the More!)
Maybe I can work some intervals into my daily hoop session today!

Interval training burns more fat, calories and improves your fitness level in a shorter amount of time than a long workout. It's good for all fitness levels since everyone is unique so you decide what is challenging for you.

See the Spark article for ideas for interval training during walks, runs, cycling.

Or you could pick a few cardio moves to do for 30 - 60 seconds and alternate with walking in place for 30 - 60 seconds:
