I too have never done pilates (except trying a few moves on my own a couple of times) - I will definitely be adding this in to my routine later tonight!

I love Pilates. It really is a great workout. I actually have a Pilates class this afternoon! The Pilates 100 is an excellent warmup.

Every weekday this week, I will challenge you with a move from different exercise techniques. Today, I want to introduce the 100 from pilates. Lay on your back with your feet pointed straight up to the ceiling (easy) or pointing at a 45* angle (hard). You can lift your upper body off the floor, or stay on the ground. Your arms should be straight down at your sides. Then, for 100 reps (hence the name) pump your arms up and down. For a better description, and a picture, follow the link below.
