I have a list on my fridge called "just one thing". It's a list of the larger tasks that I need to tackle and I always feel good when I can cross one off.

It's okay! The whole reason of prioritizing is to break down what needs to be done immediately. Try and break it down like this: What can I do today? What can I do tomorrow? What can I do this week? What can I do next week? Etc.

As soon as I saw the topic for today's challenge, I got nervous. There are several to-dos that I've been putting off for a long time. I guess it is time to get them done. emoticon

Reminds me of the poem we had to recite every day before lunch in grammar school.

Eat first what you don't like
then what you do like
save the best for the last
and you'll have a clean plate.

We'd probably get sued if we made kids eat everything on their plate the way our teacher's did.

I have a great app on my phone called Astrid Tasks and you can prioritize tasks through that. It actually only includes some very minor and one immediate task. I haven't yet written out a list of EVERYTHING I need to accomplish. I'm going to take it easy and not get overwhelmed and only make a list of all the things I know I can accomplish within the next week.

I pretty much do this every day. I'm a calendar and list geek. emoticon

Challenge-Write down what you need to do today. Then list them in order from what you are looking forward to the least, and end with the ones you're most looking forward to.

Benefit-You have the most energy at the beginning of your day, so if you tackle the least desirable tasks, your more likely to accomplish your list.
