Phooey! Read this challenge at bedtime...too late. Ate a McDonalds cheeseburger for lunch with white bun, and ate dinner at a friend's house and had white French bread. But that's all the white stuff for today.

think i made it except for my low fat dairy, trout and nuts. i think they all have sat fat, buti feel good about eating them

sounds good! my lunch today is brown rice with 1 porkchop (cooked in the crockpot with no oil). snacks I have: grapes, cucumbers, hardboiled egg, carrots. for dinner I will be having a peanut butter and banana sandwich on a whole grain piece of bread (during class so options are limited)

I will definitely avoid white flour. Since I adhere to both Dr. Richard K. Bernstein's (The Diabetic Solution) and Dr. Atkins' way of thinking, I won't avoid saturated fats. Thanks for the challenge.

YASMINSHORTER: Good for you! You aren't "throwing in the towel". *standing ovation* You realized that you can start fresh with the next snack or meal. Way to go! THAT'S how you get to goal.

Just a side note, I have been SPOT ON for almost a week with PERFECT EATING. Last night, my family had fish sticks for dinner. I had a healthy, lowfat meal (definitely not the fish sticks). When I was putting away leftovers, I felt I HAD to eat a fish stick. They were calling to me: "Eat me, Shan. We are delicious!" I wound up eating 5 of them. FIVE.

I woke up this morning telling myself: "You slipped last night. Today is a new day. Go eat a healthy breakfast and get some exercise before your day begins." I'm not throwing in the towel because I made a slip. I'm recognizing my slip, not beating myself up for it, and moving on.

WE CAN DO THIS!
