YAY !!! Bandgeek and SunnyArizona!!! good job!!

I only weigh monthly at the doc's office, and yesterday I was down 4 lbs in the last 4 weeks!!!
269.............20 more lbs and I can get my new knee!!!! (Have to be under 250)

Here to let you all know that I lost my first 1.7 pounds this week. Off to a good start, I do believe. My fitness goal is to get out there and walk at least 30 min/day...and the good part? My kids love to join me on my evening walks! So, they are getting some good physical activity in as well...and that keeps me motivated! emoticon

Well, the pizza last week didn't stop my bad food choices until Monday!!! So not in the 150s. emoticon And it's getting close to TOM, so that explains the eating everything in sight. SO I really should get off my butt and go for my run...

I agree, would never have ran had I known it was already that hot....have been hitting the fluids and even took a nap (gasp) this afternoon!

I do spend a good bit of time outside, so I am better acclimated then in past years, but you are right, folks need to be careful out there.

That sounds like quite a workout with temperature being 98. I'm glad you could do it, but please be careful in this heat. As you well know, you could easily have a heat stroke. I'm not trying to bust your bubble, just concerned about your well-being.

Just completed W5W2 of C25K -- 5 minute brisk walk, 8 minute jog, 5 minute walk, 8 minute jog, 5 minute walk.....in 98 degrees, 12 mph winds, with 28 mph wind gusts (more gusts then not on my route)!!!
