Thanks alwaysangie,

I am thinking about trying to contact my local Walmart and Target to see which one has it so that I can run on my lunch hour to go get it. I cant wait to try this out.

Thanks

Holly

Exchanged the game at Target for the Wii version (they sell the PS3 one too). Only one store had it in stock. Little farther than I would've wanted to go but at least I've got it and can't wait to try it out tomorrow. Both Walmart and Target had it for $40.

Holly, I'd suggest calling around and see if they have any before driving everywhere. Target can tell if another store has it by scanning the UPC then call and have the other store put it on hold for the day for ya. Not sure if Walmart can check other stores by scanning the UPC or not.

Holly, here's the scoop. I reordered and it DID get mailed out (as per tracking number sent). I had to pay for the second item because they hadn't refunded me for the first yet. But that did get refunded and the $10 did get credited, but I had to email them directly and through eBay.

Fun, fun though...PayPal has credited me the $10 but not my $42 back yet. There WAS a hold on it but I emailed PayPal and the hold was supposed to be lifted. Even though it was, it says I only have $10 available to transfer to my account. SO I get to email PayPal again and ask why they're not giving me my money back. UGH!

If your refund's cleared (mine was paid through checking) then you shouldn't have that problem and can use those funds to buy again then get your $10 credit after. Good luck!

Hi alwaysangie,

I got the same cancellation from Buy.com. I didnt see it was listed again under a new listing. I will have to check this out. Let me know if yours goes through with the $10 discount. It does state that if your order future items the discount will take affect.

Holly, did Buy.com cancel your order? They just did mine. I'm so frustrated that I got it for a great price just to have them take it from me, especially being the third person to buy it and they claimed they had 10+ available. Ugh. If they didn't cancel your order, did you order directly from Buy.com or from them on eBay (user ID: Buy)? Thanks.

Update: Well, they STILL have it for sale under a new listing. So I bought it AGAIN and used the "Gee we're sorry we cancelled your order when we said we have it" $10 off future order discount. So IF I get it, then I'll have gotten $10 off the price for the headache and hassle.

Arrrrggggghhhh! I'm seriously frustrated. Buy doesn't have them in stock. I got a backorder email. They aren't supposed to be listing what they don't have. Better not take long to get. I'm sooo ticked and would NOT have listed it had I known.

So Holly, be warned. At least the price is good. Hopefully the delay will be a few days AT MOST. I was anxious to give it a try.

alwaysangie thanks so much for the information and the ebay information. I have placed my order. They still had available. I figured the savings was a great deal. Thanks so much for passing that information on to me. Keep me posted on when you get yours and how you like it.

Just bought mine today. I can't classes by my house due to budget and the fact that my 18-month-old buggers in the nursery at the YMCA (making it not worth the money in membership and gas).

I was using the modern music routines on Youtube provided by HickoryZumba girls, but those were forcibly taken down by the zumba people. Considering the game is about the same price as a DVD set, that doesn't give any feedback, it was a no brainer for me. I still like to make up routines to music on Youtube :)

My first impressions are favorable. Yes, the belt slid up on me, but I just made sure to adjust after every song and that worked out. I'm a beginner where it comes to stamina, though i pick up the moves fairly easily thanks to dance experience in high school. The beginner routine was great for those of us who are mortally embarrassed to go to a class. Also, I didn't have to drop out or collapse from over exertion. :)

It is far more fitness than most other fitness video games. It's not like the other dance games in that is it not kiddie at all. I haven't tried Just Dance for Wii, but I do really like that the wiimote is int he belt, leaving my hands free to move. I really didn't think the Wii version would be better than the kinect, but I can't complain. Saved me $110 :)

I haven't done Zumba yet but I'm planning on joining a class that has 3 sessions a week (I know for sure I can do at least 2 sessions) and I'm wanting to get it for my Wii.

the controller should have the "pointing end" up and the end with the strap down.

I am thinking of doing some sort of other strap, maybe with velcroe(?), because I don't like to take the jacket off and on all the time.

Just got my Zumba Wii game last weekend and I love it. It is a little confusing, but I have fun doing the work outs. I do have one question, I don't know if I just didn't read enough before using it, but which way does the wii remote go in the zumba waist band?

Ugh! Blockbuster didn't have it. So I broke down and bought it off eBay from Buy (aka Buy.com). It was only $39.98 with free shipping but I had to pay tax. No biggie. It's new and many people are buying them for well over $60. Target and Walmart are both out, including online.

If you're interested, Buy.com does have the best price so far. And it's new. You can either go directly to their website or buy it off eBay if you prefer. It was a new listing within a couple hours and they'd already sold a few before I bought mine so I don't know how many they have or how long they'll have them for. Just an FYI if you're interested in taking the plunge. (BTW, it retails for $60 regularly.)

My kids are grounded from their game systems so I think now would be a perfect time to rent it if Blockbuster has it and put the Wii in the family room for ME. It's always in one of the boys' rooms. My turn. :)

Started Zumba Wii last night after taking classes for a couple of weeks. It's a good alternative, especially right now with all the New Years Res people crowding the classes. But I do prefer the classes. It's just a better energy for me.

I love my zumba for the wii! With already doing classes I also went straight for the difficult stuff and it worked me very hard! Very happy with it!

I am going to give this a try for a while...gym membership got so expensive so I am going to zumba my way to weightloss...zumba mon-sun for me.

After the game having a massive sell out and having to go into a second printing, my husband came home with it for me today.
I only did the step lessons and one song because my whole family was sitting here staring at me but I plan to use it on my off days or when I have to skip a class. FUN!

I'm looking forward to using the online classes option on the PS3 version. It's going to be so fun and such a great alternative and so helpful for those times like now when classes are closed for holiday or weather.

I got the Wii Zumba for Christmas and it is a fun decent workout. Not as much fun as a real class but good on those days that I do not attend class. There are different levels (beginner, intermediate, and expert) so you can choose how intense of a workout you want. I wore my heart rate monitor to see how many calories I burned during a 45 minute intermediate class and the total calorie burn was 369. I burn over 600 in a class session so for an interactive Wii game, I think I will benefit from it. I am going to try the expert level to see what my calorie burn is.

Hey, I got this for Christmas and I gotta say I love it. It was a lil confusing to navigate through the menu, but I really enjoy it. I did my workout calendar, and I'm starting with doing it 3x per week. So far so good emoticon

Mothership I am with you. My gym only has two classes every other week, one class on the opposite week. My Dojang has them two nights a week, so I'm going to start alternating on those stray weeks to be able to get at least three to four classes a week in, plus make use of the game at home on off time. :)

Just got it for the PS Move. Have only been able to spend 15 minutes with it because of celebrating the holidays with the family, but from what I have seen I am liking it. Between the DVD's, youtube videos, classes, and the PS3, I am going to be a happy Zumba camper. :)

Bought it the day it came out, not happy with it. Does anyone else have the problem of the waist band slipping up when they are using it? It tends to go up and around my ribs, not fun when your trying to unlock a new dance. I've taken to saftey pinning the thing to my workout shorts and even then it doesn't really stay. Sadly disappointed in it and have been sticking to my DVDs.
