you have not stated your hight so how can one suggest you to lose weight. simple formula. calculate your weight at B.M.I. 25. multiply calculated weight by 0.8. result is your target lean body mass. multiply L.B.M by 14 which give you your basic metabolic rate, the rate at which you burn calories doing nothing. Your L.B.M. in lbs(figure) is your daily protein need in grams (454 gram = 1 lbs). You must get this much amount of protein+multivitamins+minerals as per R.D.A.guidelines. Keep carbohydrates intake to less than 50% and fat 10 of total calories. Do exercise to burn at least 500 calories. Adopting this change in your daily activity and food intake will put you on road to good health. Wishing you a happy and healthy married life.

I felt the same way before i got married. I have been married for almost 7 years and I now weigh less then before my special idea. I have come up with things i wish i did.

1- find non food ways to dealing with stress. I ate everytime i got upset and gained a lot. I would suggest using Yoga, getting manicures, or massages (good thing to do with your future spouse!) This can prevent gaining more weight and make it easier to lose the rest.

2- talk to your future spouse. They are marrying you for you not because they want you skinny. Enjoy loving each other and you will be able to love your body for all its "imperfections". I put imperfections in quotes because they are possibly something others love about you but society makes us feel bad about. My hubby was really good at helping me overcome these issues.

3- stay away from scum bags! i can not reiterate this enough. When you are around picky mean-spirited people, you will never feel good enough. They will make you feel horrible about yourself. This may also include certain beauty magazines. Remember, their job is to make us feel ugly so we buy stuff.

4--don't use pills without a doctors knowledge. I tried them for 2 days and thought i was going to have a heart attack. My heart would be pounding even if i was napping.

I just want to say that we all are backing you and wanting you to succeed and if you need to have a huddle, we all support you. I also agree, all I have been doing is following the Sparks guidelines and my plateau disappeared...and I have even lost as much as 4 lb in one week! I was on a plateau forever, started Sparks 1-18-09 and as of last Wednesday, I have lost 20 pounds so You will Definitely Succeed! You have this!

one tip i can give is speak with a local personal trainer. they have gone through some training in how the body reacts to diet and exercise. They will be able to help you create a plan to reach your goal. regardless if you hire them. trainers can be extremely helpful in just answering some questions for you.

You have been given good advice by team members so I only want to add that your fiance loves you for YOU and it's not about your weight. When you walk down that aisle, in his eyes, he will be looking at the most beautiful woman in the world. I so want you to feel pretty on your wedding day, but just remember, in your fiance's eyes, you are already pretty. I just don't want you to become all worried, stressed, depressed, down, blue, sad, panicked, and at your wit's end during the time between now and your September wedding. Do follow the SparkProgram, but know that you will be a beautiful bride on your wedding day no matter how much you weigh.

I agree that following the Spark program in stages is your best bet. You don't have to figure out what to do, just follow the advice for each stage.

Hello. PLEASE don't panic. Focus on one thing at a time. Sp has fast break stages that will help you track these simple but important stages so use them. A great one to start with is drink water . yep thats a biggie and an easy cheap one that we often overlook. Good luck. and Please dont panic. Make a plan, a sensible realistic one and you will be on your way.
