I also take Stress B which is loaded with B-12. I find B Vitamins help to keep my calm but I haven't really paid attention to if it effects my metabolism.

I take a full vitamin B-complex which is B1(Thiamin), B2(Riboflavin), B6, and B12. I noticed a big increase in my energy. I could get through my day without a nap! It may have been from the increased energy and being able to exercise more but I noticed decreased appetite and I lost 2.5 lbs my first two weeks taking it.

I took this vitamin in a liquid form and I could not tell a difference in my energy level which is supposed to be another benefit. But it may work differently for you. Just give it a try.
