My Experience with My Weight loss Journey has gone up & down just like my weight.
I have had periods where I have blamed my weight and periods of Empowerment where I feel I am in Charge!
I am now @ a point in my journey where I know I am strong enough to take action and win what is rightfully mine-MY Body My Health!

Thanks chick! I couldn't agree with you more. I too used to blame my weight for absolutely every thing. Last year I had to mentally and emotionally get real with myself. In doing so I felt like a ton of bricks was lifted off of my shoulders. I started realizing that I was sabotaging my own self. It's amazing what changes one can make if they just believed in their self. Last year I participated in my first 5k and hopefully there will be many more to come this year.

Ooh, congrats on the weight loss! I would love to go sky diving, but I'm too chicken. I started here as an insecure overweight person not dreaming as big as I do now. So yes, I believe that my weight loss has given me the confidence to more experiences. I used to blame my weight for not doing certain things, such as running a 5K, dancing, etc. But then you see yourself shrinking and see those muscles that you can't help but feel empowered. It's nice!

Ever since I started my weight loss journey my confidence level has definitely skyrocketed. I truly believe that having the confidence that I now have, is what has given me the ability to take more chances. This past weekend I took a huge chance. In doing so I was able to scratch off another item off my bucket list...I WENT SKYDIVING! It was one of the scariest yet one of the most amazing feelings I've experienced. After the jump my adrenaline was pumping and I felt so bad ass. I felt unstoppable!

With that being said what have you experienced since your weight loss journey began that you possibly wouldn't have experienced before? Do you believe that confidence is what helped you take that chance?
