This is what I'm hoping to do this Summer:

- Join a class...either Yoga or Sumba,
- I walk/jog every morning, going to add more to my routine. Farther, distance...I do inclines during the week, add maybe another block or two up the hill.

Not sure what else...oh and add more color to my veggies and fruits...got to take advantage of the farmers market this summer...at least go to one. hahaha

In The Month of May and soon to enter June.
What are we all doing?
Not much Activity on line, I hope that's cause everyone is busy working out!
Well I know I have slacked off.
I've continued my Indonesian Dance class. That is twice a week for 2 hours each class.
But other than that NO exercise-Ughh!
For Me classes are what works, what works for U?

Hey chica, that's the way to go...I just replied to your blog. I really don't read health books (mainly health articles online), but I'm really, really, really big on the motivational/spiritual books. You know positive thinking, energy, yes my friend I am a yoga loving, vegetarian eating, tree hugger who believes in the power of affirmations and positive thinking.

When I took this weightloss journey in, I made sure to work on my inside first so that my inner beauty can flow out from within. If interested in something like that (or anyone else out there) I can hook you up with some titles.

I just created a forum called "Feed my brain". This month & moving forward I'm going to feed my brain with more knowledge. I'm going to try to keep either a motivational, inspirational or fitness book in my bag at all times. I have a strong desire to take it the next level. I've come a long ways but I still have a long ways to go. Got to keep it moving!!!

You can have RESULTS or EXCUSES... not both!

You can't spell CHALLENGE without CHANGE!

Sounds like you got a good game plan going...keep it up.

Oh I know...there's a spark team out here, but the girls aren't really active on the site...only another person has signed up. So we are hoping on going at least once a month, but I'm the type of person that likes to go every weekend. So I will have to calm myself down, I just moved to Northern California from Southern California, so I don't have a lot of friends up here yet. The ones I do have, no way will they go hiking with me, good luck trying to get them out of bed before noon. HAHAHA!

I'd hike with you if I lived closer. I want to do that so bad but in Southern Jersey there isn't much hiking.

I'm focusing on 10lbs to lose. I have a goal to lose 25lbs before June 1st but I'm focusing on 10 this month. I want to take little steps and really just see month by month the pounds melt away. I've lost 2lbs so far emoticon

I'm excercising more and definitely for over an hour each of the days I go. I'm trying to go at least 2 days a week and really push the cardio and weight lifting. I'm toning my thighs and arms with resistance trainnign which I love.

In the end I'll eat a few junkie things this summer because I love grilling and ice creams on blistering hot days. I will continue to watch what I ate though bc I'm not gainning anything back. This summer the beach will see me running on it and playing on it in a two piece emoticon

Hey chica, aqui todo bien...gracias a DIOS. I can't complain. Wow! That is so awesome and I love your attitude yes, you can DO IT and you shall!

I'm also going to try to take on some hiking by entering this challenge sponsored by Kaiser, out here were I live. The only thing is that I'm trying to get someone to go with me, tu sabe por si algo pasa.

But this will be our month...we will see this through! Keep us posted on everything that happens...that should be fun to read about.

Hi girl!! como estas?

Well, this month I accepted a challenge.. I will begin this Monday to training to my next 10K (may29) and a 5K (may 1) that I toing to run with one of my coworkers!! LOL!

It's insane.. but I CAN DO IT!! wohooo!

Well, as for me I am going to eating and breathing the nutrition plan by Spark. I usually do this but go my own way on the weekends, and yes splurge a little. But I want to go the entire month without side tracking.

This month I want to emphasize more on the nutrion part of my regiment, I'm always walking all over the place out here in Berkeley; thus, I really don't have a day in which I'm not moving.

I'm also planning on working on my spirituality, I want my beauty to flow from the inside, out. The way I see your outside reflects how you feel inside. Wow, just to even think that makes me smile.
