My mom is feeling a ton better now! I had the biggest goofiest smile on my face when we got her home because I was so happy to have her back at home where she belongs and safe! LOL! She is resting up, but she is definitely more alert now than she was at 330. Her crazy boss wants her to come in tomorrow and work for a few hours; he is insane. She has the flu.

That's right--once they get the allergic reaction taken care of (epinephrine is good for all that ails us!), she'll be completely fine. It is so startling to get that kind of news, and MORE so at the wee hours when we feel most vulnerable. She'll be ok, and now she needs to find out what it is that set it off and stay away from it!

My brother's a medic, and I appreciate the thanks going out to those who've dedicated themselves to studying to help, and helping, their fellow human beings.

Hey... left a message on your blog, too, but I just wanted to say again, don't worry, she's in good hands now and the doctors will get her right as rain! We were at the emergency room ourselves last night (with a friend) until about 2 am, so much love goes to first responders and ER folks today!

Hey guys/girls;
I am not calling for prayer or anything like that, just support. Sorry this is so early , but my mom is going to the hospital because of some allergic reaction(don't know what to) that has her tongue swollen and she is extremely sick(has been all day). My dad called me and told me the doctors have it under control and that I should not worry. I told him "how can I not be worried about her? She is my mother, of course I am worried." Waking me up at 3:30 am telling me to call 911 and her going off in an ambulance will worry me. Anyway, I really need some support right now! Thanks!
