No, I wouldn't worry about sounding like a hypochondriac. I avoid talking about a lot of my issues for the same reason. I am not always the best patient either. I am so glad that you had such a great day! I hope a pattern starts!

I am glad to hear it! I put in a lot of time to try and correct my feet. My left foot needs continual attention. I have days when I want to say F*** it all! I just try not to let myself get too far off the plan. I am here if you need me :)

I have now read a little bit about plantar faciitis and I am glad I am not afflicted with this ailment. There are certainly some things you can invest in that might help in your recovery but they do not sound to be inexpensive. This recovery will not be easy and you should re-evaluate your nutrition intake and hopefully you can make some adjustments there. I know that before I had a complete knee replacement that it was not easy to exercise but once it was done I did lose about 70 pounds through exercise and changes in my nutrition. I completely cut out soda and orange juice which the dietician informed me was about 500 calories. Set your course of action and just do your best to follow through and recovery will happen slowly.

I too, have plantar fasciitis. Does it not ease up a little as you walk? They are not cheap, but get to a sports store and buy the plantar fasciitis relief inserts for your shoes. While you are there, buy a spike ball or use a tennis ball to roll you foot on. Stand on the edge of a step and gently let your heels drop for a good stretch. If none of this offers relief, go see a podiatrist as this can become serious enough to need surgery. There are many exercise videos on here that require little standing. Give them a try. Make sure you are using the food tracker too. You have reached out for help and that is AWESOME! We all know the struggle and have been through the up and down weight. I too, have lost and gained the same many pounds time and time again. This is the first time that I am really feeling successful and that I will keep it off.
