Love the new feature on the nutrition tracker. I really like being able to see a recap of my day's nutrition in colorful charts. It really lets me see what I need to focus on improving.

Alan,

Thanks for the post and feedback.

I actually entered all of my food today (what I've already eaten plus what is planned) and checked out the feature. It's a nice feature, but honestly, it's not telling me what I don't already know on my counts. Yes, I have a hard time getting into the protein range--most vegans probably do). Yes, I eat "too much" fiber because black beans and quinoa are my staple dinner foods. Not sure I'm going to drastically change my eating behaviors, though.

It's actually a very nice reporting feature. You do get 2 points daily for accessing it, and you can either access it from the bottom of the Nutrition Tracker screen or from the Sparkpoints screen.

What I like about it (but others may balk), is that it forces you to track your food. You need a minimum of 5 entries in the tracker to be able to access the feedback section and earn your points. It seems reasonable but if you eat an item that's a "recipe" as opposed to a single food item, I can see where someone who eats 3 meals and tracks them as a recipe could possibly not have 5 items in a day. SP will also warn you before getting the feedback if you haven't tracked anything under all 3 primary meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). Again, a minor pain for me, as I have added my own mealtimes of Mid-morning, mid-afternoon, etc... so my meals don't always fall under the above. But it just means that I need to click an extra time.

But I digress... (as usual). Bottom line, is I found it to be useful feedback. I highly recommend it.

Has anyone checked out the new feature at the end of your nutrition tracker? there is now a button that says something about being done tracking for the day. When you hit that, it gives great feedback. If you haven't already, make sure you check it out!
