I like that rule--gives you a little leeway and an extra incentive to make it to the gym.

I cheated on the diet this weekend...I usually do on the weekends and don't really worry about it too much as long as I don't get completely out of hand. I try to stay withing the lower end of my calories goals throughout the week specifically because I know I eat more on the weekends. The one rule I have for myself, though, is that I'm not allowed to cheat at all on the weekends if I don't make it to the gym.

I ate a peice of cake and some guacamole on Sat. not the best thing for the diet, but darn good. The good thing though, was that I gave the rest of the cake and the croissant rolls (at 200 cal each!!) away.

That's the one of the few things about being in IRAQ, we don't have Mickey D's but it sure does sound good. emoticon We have BK, Pizza Hut and Subway plus our Chow hall. I stay away from the restaurants and stick to just eating at the Chow Hall. They have a variety but not all is healthy unless you want to eat the same thing over and over again. I did have 2 jalapeno poppers though. Yes I know I should stay away from fried foods. Well all we can do is correct our ways and move on. Keep your chin up, one step at a time.

Well, since we are confessing, I ate at Olive Garden on Saturday. I did pretty well while we were there. I split a "tour of Italy" with my sister and then only ate half of that and one breadstick and some salad. Then had the other half for dinner and 2 breadsticks. Then I had salad for both lunch and dinner on Sunday. But boy does that McDonalds sound good. emoticon

Howdy everyone. Hope the weekend was good for you all. I know that the weekends can be tough, so I am going to confess some bad things I did. If we confess and talk about it, we can help each other.

I did pretty good saterday. Stayed active and ate pretty healthy. On sunday, I blew it. After dropping my fiance off at the airport, I swang by McDonalds and got me 2 cheeseburgers, Lg fry, and a Lg Dr. Pepper. Felt guilty the whole time but I ate it for dinner. Wish I didn't but it happened. Sorry April, I blew the weekend.. I got to fight the cravings and it is tough. I will do better.
