I'm right there with you! I had a pair of slacks that fit 2 pounds ago, but now slide off while buttoned. Woo HOO (had to get that in!). I'm not seeing dramatic weight loss but I am seeing that I am toning up and losing more inches.

Cari

I love fitting back into all those clothes that were hanging at the back of my closet. I have lost 3 inches in each of my main measurements. Although I weigh in too frequently, it is the way my clothes fit that really motivates me.

I've only lost 4 lbs as well, but I have a lot of muscle to begin with. Clothes fit better, I look better and multiple people have noticed the measely :) 4 lbs weight loss.

As much as I know we all get satisfaction from that scaling moving down, sometimes just feeling better about yourself is just as great a reward.

I am in the exact same spot. In a month I have lost only 3 lbs, but all of my cloths fit better and I feel much thinner. I know the lbs will come but having my cloths fit better is great.

I've definitely seen the same thing. In fact, today I'm wearing a shirt that a month ago I couldn't wear because it was too tight on me and you could see all my rolls. Now it is completely loose around my waist, which is good as I'm still working on losing the rolls...ha-ha! It sounds like you are doing an excellent job in building up that muscle and soon you will see results with losing weight! As we all know, muscle burns more fat.

Yes I have experienced. In the beginning my scale didn't move but I noticed my clothes were fitting me better and looser. I ended up measuring myself and was really happy with the results. Losing inches to me is more satisfying than losing weight, but i will gladly take them both.

Great job!!

I weighed in this morning and was dissapointed to see that the scale had actually gone up. :(
But as I stepped off the scale, I caught my reflection in the mirror, and thought, "That's impossible, I look thinner. Why isn't the scale showing it?" I took my measurements to verify, and sure enough! my hips were 1/2 inch smaller, and my waist was a full 2 inches smaller! I guess it's true that muscle weighs more than fat. Anyone else experienced this?
