I need to purchase a new pedometer myself. The one I have misses quite a few steps I believe as well. My mother in law has a more expensive one and when we walk together it logs alot more steps then mine does. I guess sometimes buying cheap is not the best.

I met my goal..and did one better. Rather than buying a battery for my pedometer, I bought a whole new pedometer! It's so much nicer than the old since it logs EVERY step I take (instead of missing 30-40% of them like the old one). I have done 2 days at 10,000 steps and I feel great about it!

So now that that goal is done, my next goal is to walk 10,000 steps every day, and even obsess over watching the pedometer until those 10,000 steps become a part of every day life!

Getting my butt back into gear!

I am sure that you will look great at your reunion. Not only because of the weight loss, but because of the new energy and belief you have in yourself. With or without the 5 pounds, you will get a lot of positive feed back at the reunion. Have fun!

I need to lose 5 pounds by July 25 - so I will be tracking every bite and kicking up my exercise a bit in order to reach that goal (I have a reunion of sorts with some people from my high school days and I haven't seen some of these people in over 30 years and want to look as good now as I did then!)

My goal is to make sure I do some cardio 5x a week. Whether it's walking, yoga, aerobics, etc. As long as it's something.

Well my goal was going to e run 3x's a week...but then on my first run, I twisted my ankle! So my new goal is to let my ankle heal completely and not try to run on it to early hurting it further...THEN run 3x's a week :) haha
