Eva: I have heard of that with evening primrose oil, a lot of people take it to try to shorten labor I hear.
The bell choir does have a stool, and they do give it to me, but it makes it very difficult to see the music as it's a short stool. I try not to use it, but when I get so lightheaded I have to squat and take slow deep breaths so I can't play anyway, so it's a toss up.
I don't know if it was user error or the brand of air fryer but it was a flop. The chicken was limp and the breading was sloughing off - pretty icky all around. We ended up getting burritos from Pepperjax.
I am doing better at yoga, I'm not falling as much and I know my limits better. I had feline visitors on my mat this time for a closer inspection of just what the heck I am doing. My work got another trainer to sign up as a contractor, my old weight lifting instructor, so I am psyched. I really like her. I can't do a lot of her classes (too high intensity) but she's holding a barre class that is perfect for a pregnant lady. I signed up immediately. I've gained 8lbs this week - I thought I was doing better, especially with all the water and fruit I've been consuming, but I'm just going to have to fall into an anxious panicky pit this weekend and try harder next week. The only thing different is I've discovered sweet tea so I am drinking more sweetener since sweetening my tea helps me drink a lot more fluid. I'll have to go back to plain tea.
I don't do meditation or guided meditation, so I don't have any suggestions for you. I have heard good things about Headspace, though.
Our furnace broke, and it was leaking fluid through a thingimajig I don't know the name of. According to the furnace repairman it was dangerous, and the multiple problems combined with the age of the furnace came to a suggestion to replace it. We had someone come out last night to give us a quote on replacing it and it is almost $8,000 to replace the furnace! We got financing to replace it, so they are at my house right now doing so, but our AC also needs replacing by the end of the year because of its age, damage, and they no longer make the fuel for it. That's another nearly $8,000 we just don't have and we couldn't get financing for. Throw in the $850 for our still broken fireplace, and the unestimated repairs we need to make to the driveway, and I am beginning to think we should have just stayed in an apartment.
I am in week 7 of 8 of my class, and the final project is going to be really difficult. Then I have two more classes until comps - then my dissertation if I pass comps. It's all going by so fast. After the second class, right before comps begins, is when I am due. I am uncertain if I should take a 60 day leave from school or try to pass comps with a newborn. I know newborns mostly sleep, eat, and poop so I could move the bassinet into my office with me while I am working. Or I could take the leave and be off from work and school for two months just me and baby.
