Freestyle SmartPoints for me. I really didn't like SmartPoints in the beginning, but Freestyle SmartPoints has made it easier for me.

I've switched to doing Freestyle Points. One change is doing the blue dot challenge. Its working. I think I'm eating more in some ways and more satisfied. I'm losing weight.

Points - I have it set up so that my Activity Points are used up before my 28 weeklies. It's been working so far. I have lost 10 pounds -YEAH! - since January 2.

The app mentioned on one of the WW Facebook groups is Itrackbites. There are others out there. I'm not sure I'll be using it. I'm finding I like Simply Filling and I am tracking calories here.

Cindi, do you mind telling me what the app is? I like the WW app, but it seems pricey at $19+ per month (unless you pay ahead). Thanks!!

I'm going to switch to simply filling along with tracking here on Spark. I just cancelled my WW membership, but I have a free app to do points if I think I need to.

5 points for breakfast is'nt bad but if you're doing simply filling I can see how it might be a problem.

I started "simply filling" this week. I'm hoping that it will help me to make healthier choices! Kind of bummed though, my favorite protein bar (quest) will eat up 5 points a day, which will make those "weeklies" dwindle quickly (I eat one every day for breakfast). Going to have to switch that up a bit!

Since I just rejoined, we're into our third day of Simple Start. Being a WW "alumni" I can honestly say that I was successful with the the Points and will very likely go to that because of the flexibility and the "real life" type eating it allows. I have found, for me personally, I'm much more successful when I eat to live, not live to eat, while enjoying things that tickle my taste buds. My big goal this time around is to be able to maintain my loss. I'm so done with the yo-yo ride! emoticon

I've been counting my points but trying to mostly eat power foods. I enjoy making foods from Emily Bites which are delicious but usually aren't simply filling but use a lot of power foods. I need to track what I eat or I tend to go off the rails. Best wishes to you on your journey. Glad that counting has been working for you!

I do both --- I tend to count points on week days and then I switch to SF for the weekends --- a leader suggested that and I kinda like it so far!

I'm doing Simply Filling. This is my first time at WW, so I may switch to counting points in the future, but for now I like the Simply Filling plan. It's also a fun challenge to take foods from the list and make yummy meals. emoticon

I'm working towards Simply Filling--it's a bit of an adjustment for my household, so I'm easing in on it. However, I am tracking calories on SparkPeople. I've found that I need to track, but I also need the guidance that Simply Filling provides.

I count points for flexibility, but like some of Simply Filling's recipes.

The first two weeks I did the Quick Start or whatever it's called but by the time it was over I was ready to go to counting points. I lost a lot on Quick Start which got me really motivated and I still use some of the recipes. I like counting points a lot better because I like the flexibility of it. I've been doing this for 3 months now and it has become a new life style for me. At the same time I rejoined WW I found out I'm diabetic so I'm trying to count points and carb exchanges, it's been a learning process but I'm getting better at it. Very time consuming!

Good Luck!
Shirley

Hi,

Which program are each of you following? I thought simply filling would be better for me but have been happily surprised with my weight loss on my scale this week with counting points; plus the flexibility is more fun.

What do you all think works best for you??? emoticon
