I'm going to take a look at some of these places online that are mentioned- I love treasure hunts!
(and sometimes our local places just don't have that particular item that I NEED! emoticon )

Oh, and Barnes & Noble (bn.com) recently added a crafts section to its site. However, I've not found it to be particularly inspiring, but I think it maybe more geared to more serious artists rather than weekend crafters like me. Hopefully others will find it useful!

I, too, am serial crafter. I've not heard of Bolek's, so I will definitely check into it. My go-to is JoAnne (about a mile from my home), but I often order items from specialty and hobby shops online. A few of my faves: Fire Mountain Gems for beads and jewelry-making supplies, Oriental Trading Company (yes, the party site, but a surprisingly good selection of crafting materials and kits), Connecting Threads (fabrics, notions, and books), Mood (fabrics and trims), fabric.com, and Archivers (paper crafts and scrapbooking - there are bricks-and-mortar stores, but too far from my home). We're also blessed with a couple of independent quilting shops in my area where I can buy Moda and other upscale fabrics. I've also purhased materials from etsy vendors with great success.

Keep crafting & sparking!

While I often use the coupons for Jo-Ann's and Michael's, they are still 30+ miles away, and our Hobby Lobby is a great store, but I'm always on the lookout for different and unusual items for an amazing price, so I love to browse the local Tuesday Morning store. They are utterly unpredictable, but occasionally have irresistible deals, so I keep going back.

My favorite is Hobby Lobby although ours was destroyed by a tornado back in April. While I still get HL weekly deals by email & send my Mom to stock up occasionally, I'm also learning to shop at Michael's and have actually found some good deals. I have also relied on eBay & Etsy for supplies recently and not been disappointed! Still my heart belongs to Hobby Lobby...

Who is your favorite craft supplier? I do many different crafts and the stores around here are very limited unless you do scrapbooking which I don't. I have to order online and my favorite is Bolek's. I have been using them for several years. The shipping is very reasonable and usual have what I need. There are a couple of others I use and sometimes I can find things here in town but the cost is usually high unless I have a coupon. I do shop at my local Joann's and Michaels stores. Who do you use?
