Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!

I make several simple soups that are pretty decent in fat and calories.

Tomato Sauce, Chicken broth and tortellini. usually 1 can TS, 2-3 CB and a small bag tortellini.

Also 1lb burger, cooked and drained, 3-4 cans beef broth and a 1/2 full bag frozen mixed veggies.

Not sure how much these'll help you while it's warm out...But hope you enjoy!

My husband and I are watching our fat & calorie intake. We are both working professionals and find it hard to come home from work and cook a healthy meal that takes a long time to prepare. Plus... I am not a big fan of cooking, so I need something simple too. Does anyone have any ideas for dinner ideas that are simple to make that I can either make a head of time or prepare when I get home. Here is the kicker. I do not like veggies. I am "trying" to introduce them into my diet but I am 35 years old and very stubborn with veggies. Darn parents never made me eat them :)
