I have heard too many complaints about 6pm.com to use it. Too many complaints of receiving used shoes, wrong shoes, mismatched shoes, etc.

Zappos spun 6pm off as "Zappos without the overhead of customer service." From what I hear, they hit the mark.

Well that stinks! They don't have mine either, but it's not being made anymore, so not too many places do. I'm looking at other ones when mine need retired.
I did find a nice one I liked on there, that matched up almost the same to the ones I have, and it was only $64! Much cheaper than the $150 I paid for the ones I have now.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just checked 6pm and they didn't have my shoe. Thanks anyway!

Check out 6pm.com You can get REALLY good shoe deals there. Better than RunningWarehouse even.

Thanks to both of you for answering my question.

The only reason I'm looking for the exact same color as the one I already have is that I've run into problems, specifically with Saucony, where one color will fit and feel perfect, but I purchase another color of the exact same make/model and it's different. I talked to a rep at The Running Room today while searching for this particular Brooks shoe and mentioned that irregularity to him. He completely agreed that it does happen sometimes. When they make the mold for the different colors, sometimes the mold (I'm assuming the sole of the shoe) is slightly different and can feel different - toes not hitting the front in one color vs toes just barely touching in the next color. Just walking in those shoes that touch the front, you might not even notice it, but put a few miles in on a jog and that "barely touching" turns into percussion toe. So, since my feet are so touchy to begin with, I'm trying my best to find the exact same shoe and even the same color.

I've bought several pairs of shoes from runningwarehouse. But since you mention Brooks specifically, I've gotten good deals buying directly from Brooks if you're willing to accept last year's model (I am!) and whatever colors remain (ditto). You mention a need for a specific color - but for me, price outweighs color every time!

runningwarehouse also gives discount codes to running clubs. (Sometimes you can find these with google.)

I've ordered from Runningwarehouse 3 times in the past 2 years and have never had any issues. They have some good sales on shoes.

Zappos is also a really good company for getting shoes. Both places have very liberal return policies.

I have VERY fussy feet and have a great pair of Brooks right now. Runningwarehouse.com seems to be the only place I can find the exact same pair/color/size. Has anyone had any dealings with them, good or bad? Thanks!
